First Interior Designer Trade Exhibition of the year…
And so……….2018 has begun and already promises to be a busy and hopefully prosperous year for us Interior Designer entrepreneurs! With the ringing in of the New Year comes a new calendar full of Interior Design shows and expos. These shows are a perfect hunting ground to provide Interior Designers with the new products and trends for the new season! The first of these shows for the year being Top Drawer London. This ran from 14th-16th of January at Olympia Grand in Kensington.
There were thousands of fabulous, original home-ware and accessories for Interior Designers to take a look at! It was an interior designer’s heaven! The phrase ‘’like a child in a sweet shop’’ sprang to mind. The only downside of the day was not having enough time to squeeze in all of the quirky and exclusive new product selections that were available.
Here’s a summary of some of my favourite suppliers and their products from my day at Top Drawer:
Chive Sea Coral decorative items.
Really loved their wall display and thought this would be fabulous as a wall art installation
I thoroughly enjoyed my day at Top Drawer 2018 and really recommend it to all Interior Designers or design enthusiasts if you are looking for a bit of inspiration.

Finally, in case you were wondering what Metier Rendezvous is all about….
Most of you will already know that Metier Rendezvous is an informal support network for Interior Designers – born from the belief that shared knowledge and experience creates a stronger position in the industry. At Metier Rendezvous, we pride ourselves on offering all of our members a positive, sharing and proactive atmosphere. We facilitate an environment where designers are encouraged to support one another. Group culture and spirit is important to us, so we like to make sure that all of our Metier Members are happy with our offering.
The Metier Membership programme offers day-to-day support via a private Slack forum. This is reinforced at regular brunch events throughout the year, where we share our experiences with other Designers face-to-face and hear talks from expert speakers within the industry. We offer various affordable membership packages based on the differing needs of our members.
